Experience the thrill of "Rock-Paper-Scissors Shogi," a free casual game perfect for one or two players on a single smartphone! Challenge a friend to a brain-bending duel using the classic rock-paper-scissors rules to conquer your opponent's king, just like in chess! Even if you're new to Shogi, this game is easy to pick up and play. Enjoy fun with friends at school or colleagues at work!
Gameplay:
This game features four unique boards. The basic rules utilize the rock-paper-scissors dynamic:
- Goo (グー): Attacks Scissors
- Scissors (チョキ): Attacks Paper
- Paper (パー): Attacks Goo
- King (キング): Can attack any piece and move one square in any direction.
Game Mechanics:
- Attacking and Defending: When you attack, your piece and the opponent's piece cannot occupy the same space. Captured pieces can be placed on empty spaces. When a piece is attacked, it becomes the opponent's piece.
- Aiko (引き分け): Attacking with the same type of piece results in a draw (Aiko). A drawn piece can be placed on top of the opponent's piece, effectively blocking it. (Note: if the opponent attacks the stacked piece, the top piece will be captured).
- Leveling Up: Reaching the opposite side of the board upgrades your piece! (The King can still only move one square).
This single-player mode allows you to master the unique blend of rock-paper-scissors and Shogi strategy. Approximately 20 stages await your challenge! Can you conquer them all?
