Designed for four players, Mindi sets two partnerships against each other, seated across the table. The game utilizes a standard 52-card deck, with the first dealer determined by who draws the highest card. After shuffling, the dealer distributes 13 cards to each player, setting the stage for an engaging battle of wits.

Choose your preferred mode for unlimited fun:

• Hide Mode: The player to the right of the dealer selects a card, placing it face down on the table to declare the trump suit for that round.
• Cut Mode: If no trump suit is chosen initially, the game starts without one. The first player unable to follow suit decides the trump suit for the deal.

Once a trump suit is established, the highest card of that suit played in a trick wins it. If no trump card is played, the highest card of the suit led takes the trick. The trick winner leads the next card, and all captured tricks are kept in a face-down pile.

Victory is achieved when a partnership captures three or four of the tens. Securing all four tens results in a Mendicot, the ultimate triumph in Mindi.
