Amazon Pokémon TCG Restock Updates: I've Found More Surging Sparks Packs In Tins

By AudreyApr 19,2025

If you’re reading this, you’ve probably also told yourself this would be the month you don’t buy more Pokémon cards. Same here. And yet, here we are, staring down another lineup of Elite Trainer Boxes and tins like they're life choices we already regret but will definitely make again.

This tin is surprisingly solid. You get five booster packs from a great mix of sets — Surging Sparks, Stellar Crown, Temporal Forces, and Obsidian Flames — along with a promo card featuring either Kyogre, Dialga, or Xerneas. It's essentially Pokémon's version of a loot box, and yes, I ended up buying two. With the chase cards across the included sets (Pikachu ex, Terapagos, Raging Bolt, to name a few), your chances of pulling something exciting are actually quite good. Even though I'm not usually a fan of tins, I'd consider getting another one.

0Contains 1 x Surging Sparks Booster $19.99 at Amazon

I wasn't expecting much from this tin. I bought it mainly for the sticker sheets and the promise of a Surging Sparks pack. And it delivered. You get three packs, one of which could potentially include cards like Pikachu ex or Latias ex, plus a tin that now holds nothing of value. But I'm not upset. There's a small chance you might pull a Milotic ex or Ceruledge ex if luck is on your side. If not, you've spent twenty bucks to roll the dice and ended up with some handy storage. That's more than I can say for most of the cereal I've bought this year.

Pokémon TCG: Scarlet and Violet: Paradox Rift: Elite Trainer Box - Roaring Moon

Pokémon TCG: Scarlet and Violet: Paradox Rift: Elite Trainer Box - Roaring Moon

0$56.77 at Amazon

I picked this box up mainly for the sleeves, but stayed for Roaring Moon ex, which is essentially what happens when a Pokémon decides it’s done playing fair. If your goal is to end games with a single powerful move and look stylish doing it, this is the card for you. Paradox Rift doesn't have as many chase cards, but the ones it does have — like Iron Valiant ex and Groudon — are drawn with such detail that they feel like they'll be admired like cave paintings in 30 years.

Pokémon TCG: Scarlet and Violet: Temporal Forces: Elite Trainer Box: Walking Wake

0$53.64 at Amazon

The Walking Wake Elite Trainer Box includes a full-art Flutter Mane and nine more Temporal Forces packs to try your luck again at the best art of the Scarlet & Violet era. This version focuses on the ancient theme, and I bought it primarily to boost my chances of pulling a Walking Wake ex. Is it playable? That's debatable. But its appearance, reminiscent of a dream after too much sushi, with vibrant blues and prehistoric drama, was worth the price alone. Plus, the sleeves are sleek, and I pretend I care about those.

Pokémon TCG: Scarlet and Violet: Temporal Forces: Elite Trainer Box: Iron Leaves

Iron Leaves ex combines being both playable and beautifully illustrated. It looks like it’s leaping out of a sci-fi anime, exactly the kind of energy I want from my pulls. Other standout cards like Iron Crown ex and Gouging Fire ex either hit hard or look like they're about to. But Raging Bolt ex steals the show — it's loud, dramatic, and strikes the perfect balance between "meta staple" and "thunder god cosplayer."

Pokémon TCG: Scarlet and Violet Shrouded Fable Elite Trainer Box

Pokémon TCG: Scarlet and Violet Shrouded Fable Elite Trainer Box

0$57.98 at Amazon

Shrouded Fable subtly introduces cards like Houndoom, whose illustration inspires awe, and Persian, which looks like it’s plotting something cinematic. The promos and sleeves are nice, but I really wanted this box for the Illustration Rares that not only look stunning but also tell a story. Fezandipiti ex, for instance, is a versatile support attacker, while Cassiopeia adds character drama in a foil rectangle. The art direction in this set is almost pretentious, and I mean that as a compliment.
