Planning Ahead For The Third Major Update
Fresh off the heels of The Warsong Update, Supergiant Games is already gearing up for the third significant update, slated for release "some months from now," as detailed in their Steam news post. Hades II will remain in Early Access for the foreseeable future, with the developers indicating that "it’s still too early to share our plans beyond that, including when our v1.0 launch will be." However, the full release might be closer than expected, as the core structures of both the Underworld and Surface routes are now nearly complete, and the focus is shifting towards enriching existing content.
Following the completion of The Warsong Update’s post-launch patches, Supergiant Games will focus on these key initiatives:
- Hidden Aspects: The Nocturnal Arms harbor undiscovered secrets that players will eventually be able to unlock and wield.
- Enhanced Guardians: Boss battles are a cornerstone of Hades II, and they will be refined to offer greater challenges and surprises.
