The Pokémon GO Fashion Week event is back, bringing a stylish new costumed Pokémon and returning favorites! This year's event features the debut of costumed Minccino and Cinccino, sporting dazzling rhinestone glasses and adorable bows.
When to Catch Costumed Minccino:
The Fashion Week 2025 event, running from January 10th to 19th, 2025, marks the arrival of these fashionable Pokémon. While shiny Costume Minccino is available, its evolved form, Costume Cinccino, will not be shiny. The event also includes costumed versions of Butterfree, Dragonite, Diglett, Blitzle, Kirlia, Shinx, and various Furfrou forms.
How to Catch Costumed Minccino:
Unlike previous events, obtaining the costumed Minccino is a bit more challenging. It's available through two methods:
One-Star Raids:
Costume Minccino will appear in easily soloable One-Star Raids. However, you might need to check multiple Gyms as other costumed Pokémon, like Shinx and Furfrou, will also appear in these raids.
Paid Timed Research:
A $5 USD (or equivalent) ticket unlocks a Timed Research event offering XP, Stardust, a new avatar pose, and encounters with event Pokémon, including guaranteed Costume Minccino.
Field Research:
While Field Research tasks offer event-themed Pokémon encounters, Niantic hasn't confirmed if Costume Minccino will be among them. It's likely to be less common than the paid option.
How to Get Costumed Cinccino:
To obtain Cinccino in its stylish outfit, you'll need to evolve your costumed Minccino. This requires 50 Minccino candies and an Unova Stone.
