Dead Cells Mobile's final free content updates delayed, but with a confirmed release date!

The much-anticipated final two free updates for Dead Cells on mobile, "Clean Cut" and "The End is Near," have been delayed. However, developer Playdigious has announced a firm release date of February 18th, 2025, for both updates on Android and iOS.

What's in store? Let's take a look at the exciting new additions coming to the popular roguelike:

Clean Cut: This update introduces two new weapons: the strategic Sewing Scissors (Survival-focused) and the powerful Giant Comb (Brutality-focused). A new NPC, the Tailor's Daughter, will allow players to customize their character's appearance. Expect more surprises as well!

The End is Near: As the name suggests, this update brings a wave of challenging new enemies: the Sore Loser, Curser, and Doom Bringer. Players can also look forward to new skills and colorless mutations, including the formidable Demonic Strength, which boosts damage by a significant 30% when cursed, with an additional 1% per curse stack.

A fitting conclusion to a generous journey: Playdigious has consistently provided a wealth of free content for Dead Cells. While the end of these free updates allows the studio to pursue other projects, they've certainly earned a break after their dedication to enriching the mobile experience.
