On January 18, Deadlock introduced four exciting new heroes to its roster. Just a few days later, the studio rolled out some crucial balance adjustments. Holliday's ability, Crackshot, now activates on units as well, using half its cooldown in these instances. Meanwhile, Calico's ability, Ava, has been enhanced to destroy objects she encounters during her run.

The patch didn't overlook the game's older heroes either. Kelvin's health has been boosted from 600 to 650, enhancing his survivability. On the other hand, Vendicta saw a reduction in bullet speed from 810 to 740, and her movement speed was dialed back from nine to eight. In total, targeted changes were implemented for 11 heroes, encompassing both the newcomers and established characters.

Deadlock remains in its closed beta phase, maintaining a steady online player base that fluctuates between 7,000 and 20,000. This consistent engagement showcases the community's enthusiasm and the game's ongoing appeal.
