Marvel Rivals' Season 1 kicks off with a generous offering for fans, including a free Thor skin obtainable through the Midnight Features event. The season's narrative centers on the Fantastic Four's intervention when Dracula attacks New York City after trapping Doctor Strange. This exciting storyline unfolds from January 10th to April 11th.
This season introduces a wealth of new content. The Doom Match mode pits 8-12 players in a chaotic free-for-all, rewarding the top 50% with victory. Explore two new maps: Midtown and Sanctum Sanctorum. A brand-new battle pass offers 10 original skins and various cosmetic items. Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman join the playable roster, with Human Torch and The Thing slated for a mid-season update.
Players can acquire Thor's "Reborn from Ragnarok" skin, featuring a classic winged helmet design, by completing the Midnight Features event challenges. Initially, only the first chapter is accessible, with subsequent chapters unlocking weekly. All quests and the skin should be available by January 17th. A free Iron Man skin is also up for grabs via a code found on the game's social media channels. Additionally, a free Hela skin can be earned through Twitch Drops.
Beyond the free rewards, the in-game shop features new skins for Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman, each available in a 1,600 Unit bundle. Units are earned through gameplay or by exchanging Lattice, the premium currency. Purchasing the battle pass grants 600 Units and 600 Lattice upon completion.
