Helldivers 2 “Truth Enforcers” Warbond: New Weapons, Armor, and Cosmetics Arrive October 31st

Arrowhead Studios and Sony Interactive Entertainment are unleashing the “Truth Enforcers” Warbond, a premium content drop for Helldivers 2, on October 31st, 2024. This isn't just a cosmetic update; it's a major arsenal expansion, transforming players into Super Earth's elite Truth Enforcers.

The Warbond operates similarly to a battle pass, using earned Medals to unlock items. Unlike typical battle passes, purchases are permanent. Available for 1,000 Super Credits via the Acquisitions Center in the Destroyer ship's menu.

New Arsenal & Gear:

The “Truth Enforcers” theme emphasizes the Ministry of Truth's unwavering principles. Expect cutting-edge weapons and armor:

• PLAS-15 Loyalist Plasma Pistol: Versatile sidearm with semi-auto and charged shot modes.
• SMG-32 Reprimand: High-rate-of-fire submachine gun perfect for close-quarters combat.
• SG-20 Halt: Powerful shotgun with stun and armor-piercing rounds.
• UF-16 Inspector Armor: Sleek, light armor with red accents and the "Proof of Faultless Virtue" cape. Features the Unflinching perk.
• UF-50 Bloodhound Armor: Medium armor, red accents, "Pride of the Whistleblower" cape, and the Unflinching perk.

Beyond armor, expect new banners, cosmetic patterns for hellpods, exosuits, and Pelican-1, plus the “At Ease” emote. The Dead Sprint booster lets players sprint and dive even when out of stamina (at the cost of health).

Reviving the Fight:

Despite a strong initial launch (458,709 concurrent Steam players at its peak), Helldivers 2 saw a player base decline, partially due to initial account linking restrictions. While the concurrent player count on Steam is currently below 40,000, the “Truth Enforcers” Warbond aims to reinvigorate the fight for Super Earth. The new content promises to draw back players and reignite the battle.
