HoYoVerse is making a splash with back-to-back announcements! Following the reveal of Honkai: Star Rail version 2.6, details about Honkai Impact 3rd version 7.8, titled "Planetary Rewind," have been unveiled.
Honkai Impact 3rd Version 7.8: Launching October 17th
Version 7.8 brings new battlesuits, events, and a bounty of rewards. Center stage is Vita's new battlesuit, Lone Planetfarer, a MECH-type Lightning DMG dealer. Her design features a striking ring-like Drive Core adorned with peacock feathers. Lone Planetfarer boasts two distinct forms: Lone Traveler, utilizing elegant feathered strikes, and Planet Quaker, unleashing powerful laser beams upon activation of her Ultimate ability. She also gains the Astral Ring Specialization: Rite of Oblivion. The Divine Key Waxing Moon and its PRI-ARM variant, Divine Key Waxing Moon: Incipience, will also be introduced.

Version 7.8 Main Story: The First and Last War
The main storyline, "The First and Last War," transports players back a century to Langqiu during the Ten Shus War, featuring Vita, Dreamseeker, Helia, and Coralie. Rewards include Crystals, Source Prisms, Seele's event stigma, and a brand-new outfit for Dreamweaver.
Returning favorites include HOHO Vacation Tickets, and Elysian Realm now permanently offers LITE Combat. A special celebratory event kicks off October 11th, offering free Equipment Supply Cards and Prism Stigma Direct Level-Up Coupons upon login.
