Marvel Rivals Enhances Gameplay with Season 1 Balance Updates

Marvel Rivals Season 1: Dracula, Fantastic Four, and Major Balance Changes

Get ready for a thrilling start to Marvel Rivals! Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, launching January 10th at 1 AM PST, brings a host of exciting updates. Dracula takes center stage as the main villain, while the Fantastic Four join the expanding roster. Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman debut on launch day, with Human Torch and The Thing arriving within six to seven weeks.

The Season 1 battle pass, priced at 990 Lattice (approximately $10), offers 10 enticing skins and rewards players with 600 Lattice and 600 Units upon completion. Three new maps and a fresh game mode, "Doom Match," add even more depth to the gameplay.

This season also addresses balance concerns. Hela and Hawkeye, previously dominant forces, receive nerfs to curb their overwhelming power. Conversely, mobility-focused Vanguards like Captain America and Venom get buffs to enhance their effectiveness in aggressive playstyles.

Further balance adjustments include buffs for Wolverine and Storm, encouraging players to explore new strategic options with these mutants. Cloak and Dagger also receive enhancements to improve their versatility within various team compositions. Addressing player feedback, NetEase Games will refine Jeff the Land Shark's ultimate ability, aligning its visual cues with its actual hitbox. While Jeff's ultimate's power level is under review, no major changes have been announced yet.

The developer update remains silent on potential adjustments to the Seasonal Bonus feature, a point of contention among players. Season 1 promises a significant content injection, generating considerable anticipation amongst the Marvel Rivals community.
