Nexon announces the end of service (EOS) for Dynasty Warriors: Unleashed, the mobile adaptation of the popular Dynasty Warriors franchise. Players who have enjoyed leading their legendary officers to victory should make the most of the remaining time.
In-app purchases were already suspended on December 19th, 2024. While Nexon expressed gratitude to the community, no specific reason for the game's closure was given.
The shutdown announcement wasn't unexpected, given the game's performance. Released in November 2023 by Nexon and Koei Tecmo Games, its lifespan was less than a year.

The final battle will conclude on February 20th, 2025. A final update will be released this month.
Dynasty Warriors: Unleashed offered a unique blend of classic Musou action and strategic gameplay. Players could collect and train 50 officers from five factions, battling across a vast map with 13 regions and 500 stages. The story mode recreated iconic historical events such as the Yellow Turban Rebellion and the Battle of Luoyang.
