Exciting news for fans of the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) Pocket: The Pokémon Company has announced a dazzling update with the introduction of Shiny Pokémon in the upcoming Shining Revelry expansion. Set to launch on March 27th, 2025, this expansion will add over 110 new cards, including Shiny versions of beloved Pokémon such as Charizard ex, Lucario ex, and Pachirisu. These Shiny cards will come to life in the digital format, shimmering when tilted for an enhanced visual experience. Starting April 1st, you can also get your hands on a Shiny Charizard-themed display board and binder to showcase your collection.
In addition to Shiny Pokémon, characters from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, including Tatsugiri, Sprigatito, and Iono, will be featured in new cards. From March 28th to April 27th, players can participate in new ex Starter Deck missions, earning a deck ticket that can be exchanged for one of nine starter decks. This is your chance to catch a glimpse of the first batch of Shiny Pokémon in Pokémon TCG Pocket!
Shiny Pokémon have a rich history in the Pokémon TCG, first appearing in the Neo Destiny set from the second generation. The Hidden Fates set later set the standard for modern Shiny cards with its extensive Shiny Vault, and now, they're set to shine even brighter in Pokémon TCG Pocket.

Get ready to test your skills: ranked matches are finally coming to Pokémon TCG Pocket. The first season will start on March 28th and run until April 27th, featuring the new Shining Revelry cards. You'll be matched with players of similar skill levels, ensuring competitive and fun gameplay. At the end of the season, you'll earn an emblem to proudly display on your profile based on your final rank.
