Tony Hawk Insists Bam Margera Joins THPS 3+4

By MiaApr 27,2025

Bam Margera's inclusion in the upcoming Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 has been confirmed, despite his absence from the initial roster announcement. Skateboarding media veteran Roger Bagley revealed this news during a members-only livestream of The Nine Club skateboarding podcast, as reported by Video Games Chronicle.

According to Bagley, the game was already complete when Tony Hawk personally reached out to Activision, requesting Margera's addition to the game. Despite being told it was not possible, Hawk persisted, showcasing his determination to see Margera included. IGN has reached out to Activision for further comment on this matter.

Margera, known for his roles in the Jackass franchise and as a former professional skateboarder, has faced significant public challenges with alcohol and substance abuse, including multiple rehab stints. He was dismissed from Jackass Forever and was also the subject of a restraining order obtained by Jackass director Jeff Tremaine due to alleged threats against Tremaine and his family.

Recent videos of Hawk and Margera skateboarding together had sparked speculation about Margera's potential return to the game.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4, announced earlier this month, is set to launch on July 11, 2025, across multiple platforms including PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Developed by Iron Galaxy, the game has overcome the challenges posed by the merger of its previous developer, Vicarious Visions, with Blizzard, which had initially threatened to scrap the project.
