XD Games has just given us a tantalizing sneak peek into what's coming in the sixth season of Torchlight: Infinite. During their exciting livestream preview, they unveiled the new hero and a host of upcoming events that promise to shake things up in the game.
Who’s The New Hero In Torchlight: Infinite Sixth Season?
Meet Selena, the new hero who's set to rock the Frozen Canvas with her musical prowess. This versatile musician can switch between two forms to unleash havoc on her enemies. In her Bard Mode, Selena envelops her skills in foam, which, upon striking foes, bursts into vibrant colors and triggers an array of stunning abilities. Switching to her Loud Song Mode, she trades some mobility for raw, destructive power, capable of blowing enemies away with sheer force.
The highlight of this season is the Frozen Canvas theme. Players will explore the chilling Netherrealm, collecting mystical Snowpaper Fragments to unlock new stages. As you battle through the frozen landscape, gather colors to create your own paintings, which in turn unlock new abilities, skills, and hidden treasures. It’s a unique blend of combat and creativity!
And There Are New Skills, Too!
The new Inspiration Essence introduces a suite of support skills to bolster your arsenal. Skills like Split Shot – Rapid Advance transform your basic attacks into a relentless barrage of projectiles. Meanwhile, Groundshaker – Wrathful Vault lets you plummet from the sky, dealing massive damage. The return of corrosion adds an element of risk to equipment upgrades, where failure could leave your gear permanently altered.
The Netherrealm itself is getting a stylish makeover in this season. Plus, the new Supreme Showdown mode pits you against 20 of the most formidable bosses yet. Survive this gauntlet, and you’ll earn a Legendary Season Pactspirit as a reward.
The sixth season of Torchlight: Infinite is set to launch in just two weeks. Make sure to download the game from the Google Play Store to dive into this thrilling new season!
