Winterlands Aurora: New Characters & Bundles Arrive in Free Fire

Free Fire's Winterlands Festival Returns with Aurora! This year's Winterlands event brings a dazzling Aurora display and a host of exciting new features, including the tactical character Koda, Frosty Tracks, and an Aurora Forecast system that impacts gameplay.

Winterlands: Aurora Details

Koda, a new character hailing from a high-tech arctic region, possesses the unique ability "Aurora Vision." This skill allows for increased movement speed and the ability to spot enemies concealed behind cover, even providing a preview of enemy locations while parachuting. His backstory reveals a childhood encounter with a mystical fox mask under an aurora, forging a bond with snow foxes that informs his battlefield prowess.

The Aurora theme permeates the Winterlands event. Bermuda is transformed into a winter wonderland with an aurora-filled sky and the introduction of the Aurora Forecast system. This dynamic weather system grants in-game buffs based on the forecast, significantly altering the course of battles.

Frosty Tracks, icy pathways perfect for skating, have been added to Battle Royale and Clash Squad modes. These tracks wind through locations like the Festival Clock Tower and Factory in Bermuda, allowing players to navigate while engaging in combat. Special Coin Machines along these tracks reward players with 100 FF Coins. In Clash Squad, these frosty highways appear in areas such as Katulistiwa, Mill, and Hangar.

Battle Royale features aurora-enhanced Coin Machines, while Clash Squad offers Supply Gadgets imbued with the magical aurora. Interacting with these elements completes event quests and provides squad buffs.

Playing with friends adds a unique touch. Friends appear as adorable snowballs on the event interface, enhancing the collaborative experience. Completing friend-specific tasks unlocks rewards such as an AWM skin and a Melee Skin.
