Neutronized, the creative minds behind games like Shovel Pirate, Slime Labs 3, Super Cat Tales, and Yokai Dungeon: Monster Games, have recently launched a new platformer called Shadow Trick. True to Neutronized's style, Shadow Trick is a short, fun, cute, and simple game, featuring a nostalgic 16-bit pixelated art style and it's free to play.

What Do You Do In Shadow Trick?

In Shadow Trick, you embody a wizard with the unique ability to transform into a shadow. This innovative mechanic is central to the gameplay, where you switch between your physical and shadow forms to solve puzzles, dodge traps, and sneak past enemies. The game is set in a magical castle, teeming with diverse biomes, concealed dangers, and challenging bosses.

With 24 levels to navigate, each level contains three moon crystals crucial for unlocking the game's full ending. To collect all 72 crystals, you must defeat bosses without taking any damage—a feat that can be particularly tough with adversaries like the red ghost, which can vanish and reappear unexpectedly.

Shadow Trick offers a variety of environments, including water levels where you'll need to maneuver as a shadow and face off against unique fish bosses, adding to the game's charm and challenge.
