Fortnite's Latest Update: A Blast from the Past and Festive Fun!

Fortnite's newest update delivers a nostalgic treat for players, bringing back beloved items like the Hunting Rifle and Launch Pad. This follows a recent hotfix for the OG mode, reintroducing the classic Cluster Clinger. December's festivities continue with the return of Winterfest, complete with seasonal quests, fun items such as Icy Feet and Blizzard Grenades, and exciting new skins featuring Mariah Carey and others.

Fortnite's Winterfest event blankets the island in snow, offering players quests and unique items. Rewards await from the Cozy Cabin, alongside premium skins like Mariah Carey, Santa Dogg, and Santa Shaq. Beyond Winterfest, collaborations with Cyberpunk 2077 and Batman Ninja add to the excitement. The OG mode also receives attention.

A recent hotfix for Fortnite's OG mode brings back the highly anticipated Launch Pad, a Chapter 1, Season 1 favorite. This iconic traversal tool, predating other mobility options, allows players to strategically launch themselves into the air for tactical advantages or quick escapes.

  • Cluster Clinger

The return of the Launch Pad isn't the only exciting addition. The Hunting Rifle (Chapter 3) is back, providing long-range combat options, especially welcomed by those missing sniper rifles in Chapter 6, Season 1. Chapter 5's Cluster Clingers also make a comeback, appearing in both Battle Royale and Zero Build modes.

Fortnite OG's popularity is undeniable, attracting 1.1 million players within two hours of its launch. Alongside the game mode, the OG Item Shop launched, offering classic skins and items for purchase. While the return of classic skins is generally well-received, the re-release of ultra-rare skins like Renegade Raider and Aerial Assault Trooper has sparked mixed reactions among players.
