Pokémon Go's Holiday Event Part Two: Double the Fun!
Get ready for the second half of Pokémon Go's Holiday Event, running from December 22nd to 27th! Niantic has revealed even more exciting bonuses, Pokémon encounters, and challenges than the first part (starting December 17th).
This festive period brings double XP for catching Pokémon and a 50% XP boost for Raid Battles. Make the most of it! Holiday-themed Dedenne, Wooloo, and Dubwool will make their debut, with a chance to snag a shiny version.
From December 25th to January 5th, Daily Adventure Incense will last twice as long, increasing your chances of catching Pokémon like Alolan Rattata, Murkrow, Blitzle, Tynamo, Absol, and more!
Raid Battles will feature a range of Pokémon: Litwick and Cetoddle in one-star raids, Snorlax and Banette in three-star raids, and Giratina in five-star raids. Mega Latios and Abomasnow will also appear in Mega Raids.
For those who prefer quests, Field Research Tasks offer encounters with event-themed Pokémon. A paid Timed Research ($5) provides extra rewards including a Glacial Lure Module, two Incense, a Wooloo Jacket, and more encounters. Collection Challenges focused on catching and raiding will reward Stardust, Great Balls, and Ultra Balls.
