Adin Ross Remains Committed to Kick, Hints at Major Future Plans
Popular streamer Adin Ross has confirmed his long-term commitment to the Kick streaming platform, ending speculation about his departure. Ross's unexpected absence from Kick earlier in 2024 fueled rumors of a potential exit, but his recent return with a new livestream and a public statement confirms his intention to stay "for good."
Ross, known for his high-profile presence and occasionally controversial content, joined Kick after a permanent ban from Twitch in 2023. His move, along with other prominent streamers like xQc, significantly contributed to Kick's rapid growth. While 2023 saw considerable success for Ross on Kick, his sudden absence in 2024 sparked widespread uncertainty and rumors of a rift with Kick CEO Ed Craven. However, a December 21, 2024 livestream with Craven dispelled these rumors, confirming Ross's continued partnership with the platform. A subsequent tweet further solidified this commitment. His January 4, 2025 livestream, marking his return after a 74-day hiatus alongside Cuffem, Shaggy, and Konvy, cemented his renewed presence on Kick.
Ambitious Plans on the Horizon
Ross's tweet also hinted at "something even bigger" in the works, fueling anticipation among his fanbase. Many speculate this relates to his Brand Risk boxing events, a project he previously intended to expand with Kick's support. Given past legal challenges with Misfits Boxing earlier in 2024, the success of future Brand Risk ventures will be closely watched.
Ross's decision is a significant boost for both his loyal viewers and Kick itself. Kick, actively competing with Twitch, aims for market dominance, a goal Bijan Tehrani, co-founder, recently described as either surpassing or acquiring Twitch. Given Kick's current momentum and strategic partnerships with top streamers, this ambition appears increasingly plausible.
