Free Fire's Winterlands 2024 update brings the chill with new character Koda and frosty gameplay mechanics. Get ready for a snowy season of enhanced mobility and exciting challenges!
The update introduces Koda, an arctic character with a mystical fox mask granting him Aurora Vision. This ability allows him to detect enemies behind cover (unless they're crouching or prone) and highlights enemy positions during parachuting.
A major addition is Frosty Tracks – ice-covered rails enabling players to dash, shoot, turn, and use throwables while traversing the map. Special Coin Machines along these tracks reward players with 100 FF coins. These tracks appear in both Battle Royale and Clash Squad modes.
Winterlands 2024 also features Aurora Events in both game modes. In Battle Royale, aurora-affected Coin Machines provide buffs, while Clash Squad offers aurora-affected Supply Gadgets with similar benefits. Completing event quests by interacting with these items grants team-wide buffs.
