Application Description
Securely record and verify video authenticity using blockchain technology with Clapperboard. This application enables video recording from diverse sources—CCTV, webcams, action cameras, drone cameras, and more—and provides irrefutable proof of authenticity and authorship.
First, create a Clapperboard account and add funds to your balance.
To generate an authentic video:
- Add a comment to your video.
- Request a QR code.
- Display the QR code within the camera's view while recording.
The generated QR code and your comment are permanently recorded on the NEM blockchain. Your recorded video is then available.
To further verify that the video remains unmodified and was created after QR code generation, upload a segment of the video showing the QR code to http://product.prover.io/. Upon successful verification, you receive a Certificate of Authenticity containing video details.
